Mended Review & Giveaway

I have to be honest here.  I am pretty particular when it comes to books, Christian based books.  I like a book to tell a story, not preach to me or simply quote bible verses every other sentence.  A well written story laced with truth and personal experiences talks to me much much better and I tend to get more out of it.  That is why I fell in love with "Mended" by Angie Smith.

"Mended" written by author Angie Smith, is a wonderful read!  This could easily be a devotional, but I just couldn't put it down.  Every page was something new and revealing.  After each chapter she added questions to really get your mind working and your soul searching.  The thing I loved most, was Angie's sense of humor.  That is what kept me going, that is what kept me wanting to read more.  Angie, like many of us, has had to walk through loss, grief, and trying times and has essentially been "broken".  "Mended" tells her story of healing and how He has mended her, how He mends us all if we allow him to.  I don't normally read books more then once, but I just have a feeling that I will be reading this again, and I also have a feeling that when I do it will be all new to me.
